Who is Steve Houlihan?

I grew up in Alhambra, a suburb of Los Angeles, California, went to Cal Poly, Pomona where I got a degree in Aero-Space Engineering. I worked at North American Aviation/North American Rockwell/Rockwell International for 15 years, quit and went into the remodeling business. I did that for a few years until I realized it was hard work and I wasn't making any money. I have been with the City of San Jose, California for the past 15 years.

I've lived in Santa Cruz County for almost 20 years now. My house is surrounded by Redwoods and Live Oaks. It is beautiful and peaceful here. It is not so good for my telescope (to many trees) but it is great for my music (no neighbors).

I enjoy gardening a little but mostly I like to build or fix things. I'm also a big music fan. Blues, Jazz, Classical, Rock.
