SurfnetUSA's Internet Classes

SurfnetUSA offers private classes on a wide variety of Internet topics at a very reasonable rate, $30 for an hour long class. Best of all we will provide instruction on your computer at a time that is convenient to you.

All instruction is one-on-one geared at your particular level of understanding.

We can also customize instruction for your particular needs. Just ask!

To sign up for a class, you may either contact our office at 430-0347 or email us at classes@surfnetusa.com. Signups are on a first come, first serve basis. The suggested materials for the classes are a notebook and writing utensils. Refreshments will also be provided at no charge.

Basic Web browsing with Internet Explorer 4.x, including using search engines.
Basic Email with Outlook Express: using the Inbox Assistant, Address Book, Stationary, and more...
Downloading, unzipping and installing software off the Internet... the best freeware and shareware, and keeping your Operating System up-to-date....
Media on the Internet: RealMedia, LiquidAudio and Active Movie
Organizing your small business using Outlook 98
Internet Phone and Videoconferencing: Webphone, Internet Phone, Chat, ICQ, and IRC

We also teach a series of basic classes in HTML, designed to get the beginner up and running with a website of their own, because these classes require special software (which you will be able to install on your machine) these classes will be taught at the instructor's computer in Santa Cruz, call for details)
