| Touch keyboard with beginning touch-typing skill |

| Save & close a file; Open a Word file & save it with a new name |
| Enter text in a document; Edit a document |
| Use spelling and grammar checker |
| View a document in print view; Print a file |
| Change font type and size; Change font style; Change alignment |
| Change margin settings; Set tabs, Use ruler and indents |
| Create a table; Place borders around text |
| Insert Word Art; Add Clip Art |
| Use headers & footers; Insert footnotes |

SEARCH & RETRIEVAL |
| Search and retrieve information from Internet using search engines |

| Enter numbers and labels; Change column width & row height |

MICROSOFT POWERPOINT |
| Create a presentation & work with PowerPoint templates |

FINAL TRAVEL PROJECT |
| Students will team up in pairs to research an area to travel. They will make all their virtual arrangements online; prepare an itinerary in Word and a budget with a chart in Excel. If time permits, prepare a PowerPoint presentation of their project. |
